Vs. Winthrop

WSU is in the NCAA tournament seeded as a number 4. This is pretty good, except that most likely we will be matching up against UNC if we make it through the first two games. The cougs are up against Winthrop first and it is looking like we will be able to beat them pretty handily. Never overlook an opponent, but I think we will have a first round win. Up next is Notre Dame. This will be a true test of our defense. ND is averaging around 80+ points per game and shoots well from the 3-point line. They also boast the Big East Player of the Year, who Cowgill and Baynes will most likely match up with in the post. Should be fun and if we win, I like our chances against UNC. But who knows, it is the big dance and anything can happen baby!
